Clinical Applications Analyst – SAP Healthcare Systems

Role Summary
The Clinical Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting, implementing, configuring, and enhancing SAP and Non-SAP clinical applications used across healthcare operations. The role acts as a bridge between medical users and technology teams by understanding clinical workflows, gathering business requirements, evaluating feasibility, supporting system development, and ensuring successful implementation of healthcare technology solutions.
The position requires a strong understanding of healthcare processes, clinical operations, application support, user requirement analysis, testing, and stakeholder management to ensure effective utilization of clinical information systems.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Application Support
Provide functional and operational support for:
SAP Clinical Modules
Healthcare Information Systems
Non-SAP Clinical Applications
Ensure smooth functioning of clinical applications used by healthcare teams.
Monitor system performance and user issues.
Support ongoing maintenance and enhancement activities.
Requirement Gathering & Business Analysis
Collaborate with clinicians, healthcare users, and business stakeholders to understand operational requirements.
Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Assess feasibility of requirements within existing systems and applications.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
Clinical Workflow Evaluation
Analyze existing healthcare workflows and clinical processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement through technology solutions.
Ensure system configurations align with operational and clinical requirements.
Support optimization of healthcare information systems.

Participate in implementation and rollout of new modules and enhancements.
Support deployment activities and post-implementation stabilization.
Ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.
Testing & Validation
Develop and execute:

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Validate application functionality against business requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects until resolution.
Ensure quality and compliance of delivered solutions.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
Coordinate and support end-users during UAT activities.
Provide guidance on test execution and issue reporting.
Ensure successful completion and sign-off of UAT processes.
Document test outcomes and recommendations.
Issue Resolution & User Support
Act as the primary contact for application-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported problems.
Coordinate with technical teams for complex issue resolution.
Ensure timely closure of incidents and service requests.
Provide ongoing user support and training.
Knowledge Transfer & Training
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for:
Quality Assurance Teams
End Users
Support Teams
Prepare training materials and user guides.
Support adoption of new systems and processes.
Facilitate change management activities.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management
