Job Title: Clinical Administrative Coordinator

Pay: $22.00 per hour
Contract Dates: 10/1/24 - 12/31/24
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking Clinical Administrative Coordinators to facilitate member referrals and ensure compliance with state-required timeframes for authorization of covered benefits and services. This is a short-term contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming and outgoing telephonic outreach to members and providers.
  • Update demographic information and notify relevant state authorities.
  • Authorize home and community-based services.
  • Perform data entry for various forms and assessments.
  • Manage member referrals and assignments to health coordination.
  • Process mail, including scanning, uploading, and notifying appropriate staff.
  • Prepare office supplies and materials for administrative and health coordination teams, with potential trips to the Honolulu office (this can be discussed).

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in analyzing and resolving customer issues.
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • 2+ years of experience with medical terminology.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with healthcare insurance.
  • Background in a hospital, physician's office, or medical clinic setting.
  • Clerical or administrative support experience, particularly in a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and/or Medicaid services.
