Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Support: Manage patient service issues related to insurance, specialty pharmacy, and patient support programs.
  • Collaboration: Engage daily with Regional Business Managers (RBMs), Patient Access Liaison (PAL), Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and other stakeholders to manage insurance approvals, reauthorizations, and therapy access.
  • Case Management: Track patient histories, reimbursement statuses, and resolve ongoing reimbursement issues. Work with medical offices to obtain insurance authorizations and advise patients on financial assistance options.
  • Trend Identification: Report on trends in patient adherence and reimbursement, sharing updates on patient status and resolving any obstacles.
  • Industry Engagement: Attend patient meetings, industry conferences, and sales meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree OR
    • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of Case Management experience or related OR
    • Associate’s degree and 6+ years of Case Management experience or related OR
    • High school diploma/GED and 8+ years of Case Management experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • 2+ years of prior experience as a Case Manager.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and collaborate across geographies.
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Up to 20% travel required.
