Job Summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Cardiology Device Monitor Technician to join our Adult Device Clinic in Westwood. This role plays a critical part in supporting cardiac care through precise device interrogation and remote cardiac monitoring. Ideal for professionals experienced with pacemakers, ICDs, ILRs, and ambulatory cardiac monitoring devices, this opportunity offers growth within one of the nation’s top academic health systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-clinic interrogation of pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), and implantable loop recorders (ILRs)

  • Conduct ambulatory cardiac monitoring and remote monitoring evaluations

  • Handle automatic remote services (ARS) testing for cardiac devices

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and monitoring logs

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and electrophysiology specialists to deliver accurate cardiac data


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in device monitoring and interpretation (pacemakers, ICDs, ILRs)

  • Strong understanding of electrophysiology and cardiac rhythms

  • Proficient in the use of ambulatory monitoring tools and remote monitoring platforms

  • Excellent attention to detail and clinical documentation

  • Ability to work independently and manage patient data securely

  • Certification in cardiac device technology (e.g., IBHRE) is preferred

  • Healthcare support experience in cardiology or electrophysiology clinics is a plus
