Role Overview

Elanco is seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate – R&D Site Operations to support the R&D IAC Lead Team at our Bangalore site. Reporting to the R&D IAC Site Head, this role is central to ensuring smooth site operations, effective cross-functional coordination, and timely execution of strategic initiatives.

This position requires strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, along with a collaborative mindset to support site leadership, internal teams, and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Initiative Implementation

  • Assist in executing R&D strategic initiatives and track progress against goals.

  • Serve as liaison with leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely communication.

  • Influence outcomes through strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Apply analytical thinking to identify root causes and propose innovative solutions for operational challenges.

2. Content Creation & Communication

  • Prepare reports, townhall presentations, executive briefings, onboarding materials, and internal newsletters.

  • Maintain intranet pages, digital signage, emails, dashboards, and content calendars.

  • Design visual content for posters, SharePoint, and organizational showcases.

  • Leverage AI and new-age tools for content curation and process efficiency.

3. Project Planning & Leadership Support

  • Develop project plans, dashboards, and progress reports for leadership review.

  • Support the GOAT Lead Team with meeting materials, presentations, and multimedia content.

  • Coordinate internal videos and communications for organizational highlights and special events.

4. Operational Support

  • Partner with floor operations for day-to-day office management and event logistics.

  • Coordinate internal events, visitor schedules, and leadership meetings.

  • Manage travel schedules, ticketing, accommodations, and documentation as required.

  • Ensure effective calendar management for R&D IAC Site Head and leadership team.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2–5 years in R&D operations, administrative support, or project coordination in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or research environments.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels.

  • Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic environment.

  • Confidentiality, professionalism, and a team-focused mindset are essential.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with R&D processes within a pharmaceutical or biotech setup.

  • Experience in cross-regional or cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficiency in content creation, dashboards, and digital tools (SharePoint, intranet, Microsoft Office).
