As the Associate Director, Immunology, PSS Marketing, you will:

  • Lead the strategic development and tactical execution of patient engagement and experience initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, alliance partners, field teams, and vendor agencies.

  • Shape how Sanofi communicates with and supports patients and caregivers throughout their treatment journey.

This highly visible position reports to the Senior Director, Patient Support Services Marketing and is based in Cambridge, MA.


Key Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Engagement

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the patient journey, including emotional, clinical, and logistical challenges faced by patients and caregivers.

  • Design and implement the PSS patient and caregiver engagement strategy, ensuring alignment with Sanofi’s broader customer engagement objectives.

  • Translate engagement strategies into actionable PSS marketing and communication tactics tailored for patients and caregivers.

  • Continuously analyze patient insights and program data to enhance satisfaction and the overall patient experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with brand marketing, field teams, and alliance partners to ensure alignment of marketing tactics and consistency of messaging.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage patient insights and identify opportunities to strengthen the PSS program.

  • Work closely with the agency of record to oversee patient communication materials, ensuring timely promotional review approvals.

Operations & Execution

  • Manage patient material inventory, utilization, print requirements, and logistics.

  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance of all patient-facing materials with internal standards and external regulations.

  • Track and report the impact of patient engagement initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.


About You

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 years of marketing experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical brand management or Patient Support Program leadership.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
