JOB OVERVIEW

The Associate Manager, Clinical - HST serves as a Medical Device Application Specialist responsible for providing expert clinical and technical support for Baxter's HST (Healthcare Systems & Technologies) product portfolio. The role focuses on product adoption, customer training, clinical support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with commercial teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product Demonstrations & Clinical Support

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for healthcare professionals.

  • Showcase product features and clinical benefits to potential and existing customers.

  • Support surgeons, nurses, and technicians during product evaluations.

  • Assist with high-profile procedures and critical customer interactions.

• Clinical Training

  • Deliver comprehensive hands-on training programs.

  • Train healthcare professionals on safe and effective device usage.

  • Ensure proper understanding of product applications and clinical workflows.

  • Support onboarding of new users and healthcare teams.

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical support during installation and implementation.

  • Troubleshoot application-related issues both remotely and on-site.

  • Resolve customer concerns related to device functionality and usage.

  • Ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction post-installation.

• Sales Support

  • Partner with sales teams throughout the sales cycle.

  • Provide product expertise during customer meetings and evaluations.

  • Support achievement of sales targets through clinical and technical knowledge.

  • Participate in customer engagement initiatives and product launches.

• Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

  • Gather customer feedback and market insights.

  • Communicate customer requirements to product and marketing teams.

  • Support customer retention and satisfaction initiatives.

• Product & Market Knowledge

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Baxter HST products.

  • Stay informed about surgical procedures and clinical practices.

  • Monitor competitor products and market trends.

  • Participate in conferences, workshops, and industry events.

• Travel & Field Activities

  • Travel extensively to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.

  • Provide on-site clinical support when required.

  • Conduct field-based training and troubleshooting activities.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in:

    • Biomedical Engineering

    • Surgical Technology

    • Life Sciences

    • Related Healthcare Discipline

EXPERIENCE

2–5 Years

  • Clinical experience in healthcare settings.

  • Experience as a Medical Device Application Specialist preferred.

  • Experience supporting surgical or medical device products.

  • Customer-facing healthcare industry experience preferred.
