Labcorp is a global leader in drug development services, providing support to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. We are currently seeking an Archives and Sample Coordinator to join our team in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, on a 1-year fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sample management and archive tasks, including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal.
  • Execute core sample accession tasks, such as box opening, inventory labeling, storing, and retrieving samples.
  • Use tracking systems to maintain sample and study integrity.
  • Accurately interpret protocols and relevant documentation (Sample Analysis Outline, client paperwork).
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies, assisting with problem-solving.
  • Maintain client and business confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures for security, data integrity, and access control.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 kg (50 lbs).
  • Repetitive tasks involving samples and computer terminals.
  • High-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Possible work in cold storage conditions.
