About the Role

This entry-level apprenticeship opportunity is designed for graduates looking to begin their career in clinical research and global clinical operations. As an Apprentice in the Centralized Delivery team, you will support essential activities aligned with Fortrea and/or sponsor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role offers hands-on exposure to clinical processes, project documentation, analytics, and operational support within a global CRO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Centralized Delivery team in supporting Global Clinical Operations and Project Delivery functions.

  • Review operational reports and prepare process packs for CRAs.

  • Support study-related activities including startup tasks, eTMF tasks, and access management tasks.

  • Assist in coordinating investigator payments as instructed.

  • Maintain project documentation with accuracy and compliance.

  • Contribute to visualizing data and developing insights for operational decision-making.

  • Perform quality checks, escalate issues when needed, and ensure process compliance.

  • Provide administrative support to functional and line management teams.

Education, Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology, or Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Life Sciences.

  • Ability to deliver academic or professional projects with attention to detail and timelines.

  • Strong analytical mindset and interest in clinical research operations.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Openness to diverse perspectives, teamwork, and process-driven working environments.

Experience Required

  • Fresher role: 0–11 months of experience in Clinical Development or Clinical Operations preferred.

  • Candidates with exposure to CROs, pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments are encouraged to apply.
