Role Overview:

As a Global Associate HEOR Lead, you will be responsible for developing and leading the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) strategy for Novo Nordisk’s Diabetes pipeline products. This role provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with teams across the organization and drive evidence generation to demonstrate the value of healthcare products. You will work closely with global stakeholders to support market access, payer strategies, and Health Technology Appraisal (HTA) submissions, ensuring the economic value of products is clearly communicated.


Key Responsibilities:

  • HEOR Strategy Development: Lead the development of the HEOR strategy for diabetes pipeline products, working closely with teams in Denmark and across global regions.
  • Evidence Generation: Manage and direct evidence generation activities, including economic evaluations, cost-effectiveness analyses, and health-related quality of life studies. Develop and refine economic models to support market access and reimbursement efforts.
  • Modeling & Simulation: Lead the development of health economic models and simulation strategies. Manage model usage and licensing agreements across regions.
  • Payer Value Story: Support the development of a robust Payer Value Story by providing credible, evidence-based health economics insights. Guide the publication strategy and dissemination of findings through scientific journals, abstracts, and conference posters.
  • HTA and Reimbursement Support: Oversee HTA submission processes and collaborate with affiliate teams to overcome reimbursement challenges.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including market access teams, R&D, brand teams, commercial planning, medical affairs, and biostatistics, to ensure alignment and integration of HEOR findings across the business.
  • Training & Development: Provide training on health economics approaches to global and regional teams, and deliver presentations to disseminate research findings.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 8 years of experience, with a minimum of 6 years in health economics and outcomes research. Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a consultancy is highly preferred.
  • Publications: A strong scientific publication record in peer-reviewed journals is an advantage.
  • Therapeutic Area Expertise: Experience in Diabetes and familiarity with economic models such as the Core Diabetes Model and PRIME model is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and project management capabilities. Excellent communication skills for both internal and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-driven, with a personal ownership mindset and a passion for delivering high-impact results.
