Role Summary

The primary responsibility is to manage Patient-Oriented Programs (POP) end-to-end, ensuring compliance with applicable processes and quality standards. Liaison with cross-functional teams is required for successful execution of POP.


Key Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Administer end-to-end POP processes per Doing Business Ethically (DBE) policy and POP SOPs.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders: POP Champion, Procurement, Legal, Patient Safety, Compliance, Quality Assurance.

  • Obtain necessary approvals for POP conduct in a timely manner.

  • Manage External Service Providers (ESP) compliance checks before fieldwork initiation.

  • Maintain program details in POPsys database throughout program conduct.

  • Track all required activities: FPFC/LPLC dates, Adverse Event Reconciliation (AER), periodic reviews, closure, etc.

  • Maintain POP documentation in the POP repository.

  • Document quality issues in QI management tool, perform root cause analysis, risk assessment, and implement CAPAs.

  • Ensure smooth handover of activities when leaving role, on planned leave, or exiting organization.

  • Manage projects effectively and escalate findings timely.

  • Seek stakeholder feedback and implement improvements.

Compliance Activities

  • Comply with global and local regulations for POP activities.

  • Ensure ESP onboarding and compliance: SQA, EPRM, PV provisions, POP AE trainings.

  • Follow organizational Integrity & Compliance policies: Code of Conduct, Corporate Citizenship, Conflict of Interest, DBE.

  • Support internal/external audits and inspections as needed.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • 100% maintenance of POP and ESP KPIs.

  • 100% documentation completeness related to POP.

  • Positive internal stakeholder feedback.


Ideal Candidate Requirements

Education:

  • Minimum: Life Sciences graduate, B.Com, BA, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Clinical, PV, Medical/Regulatory Affairs, or pharma compliance/commercial framework.

  • Good understanding of local regulatory requirements and pharmaceutical policies.

  • Effective communication across diverse audiences and global/local teams.
