Job Summary:
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) for Epidiolex is responsible for executing the market access business plan for the assigned geography, ensuring that patients can access the product through effective provider education and resolution of reimbursement challenges. The ARM will work closely with healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams to navigate payer and reimbursement policies and deliver timely issue resolution, all while ensuring compliance with current guidelines.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategies to meet business unit and corporate goals.

  • Provider and Account Relationships: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with providers to educate them about payer prior authorization, coding, and patient access services.

  • Education & Training: Provide training to providers and staff about payer policies, clinical criteria, and reimbursement processes.

  • Issue Resolution: Address patient-specific access issues and coordinate solutions with external and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Work with sales teams, patient support services, and specialty pharmacies to ensure a seamless access process.

  • Data Management: Monitor and report changes in coverage policies, providing updates to sales teams and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Business Reviews: Conduct regular business development reviews for Jazz leadership and provide necessary updates to regional sales teams.

  • Industry Representation: Represent Jazz Pharmaceuticals at payer, reimbursement, and professional meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree required, MBA preferred.

  • Experience: At least 5 years in pharma, biopharmaceutical, or medical device fields, with experience in account management and reimbursement. Experience in HUB services and specialty pharmacies is preferred.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, decision-making abilities, and the ability to simplify complex reimbursement issues. Proficient with MS Office and comfortable working autonomously.

  • Additional Certification (Preferred): CPC, Prior Authorization Certification Specialist (PACS) certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent travel to various meeting sites.

  • Frequent use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.

Work Environment:

  • Interactions with external contacts in an office setting.

  • Occasional work outside of normal business hours.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $148,000.00 - $222,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus, incentive compensation, and equity grants. Additionally, employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid vacation.
