Position Details:

  • Designation: Trainee Research Associate
  • Department: Synthesis
  • Location: Greater Noida, India
  • Reporting to: Senior Scientists in Synthesis Department

Key Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize, purify, and characterize chemical intermediates.
  • Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive chemistry projects forward.
  • Apply knowledge of basic organic chemistry, mechanisms, and functional group transformations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Name Reactions and molarity, normality, equivalency.
  • Perform thin-layer chromatography, column purification, and extraction.
  • Gain proficiency in NMR, IR, and mass spectrometry for chemical analysis.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety practices and work in a dynamic research environment.
  • Communicate effectively and work well in both scientific and soft-skill areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualification:
    M.Sc. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or a related field, or M. Pharma (specialized in Organic Synthesis).

  • Experience:
    0-1 years of relevant project experience. Fresh graduates with a passion for research and development are welcome to apply.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of basic organic chemistry concepts and mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with Name Reactions and functional group transformations.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory techniques such as chromatography and spectrometry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and convey scientific results.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a fast-paced, evolving research setting.
