Position Overview:
The Trainee Research Associate will gain hands-on experience in analytical research and drug discovery processes. Under the guidance of a mentor, the individual will be responsible for learning the operation of analytical instruments, exploring new analytical techniques, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn to operate and maintain analytical instruments under the supervision of a mentor.
  • Gain knowledge of new analytical techniques used in the Analytical Research Department (ARD).
  • Coordinate with the Synthesis and other cross-functional departments to support research projects.
  • Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory safety protocols.
  • Participate in departmental SOP trainings and other relevant trainings (Quality Assurance, EHS, HRD, etc.).
  • Gain basic knowledge and hands-on experience with analytical chemistry techniques, including HPLC, LCMS, NMR, and purification methods.

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry.
  • Experience:
    • 0 years of professional experience required.
    • Any internship or coursework completed at a recognized industry or institute will be considered an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of instrumental techniques and their applications in analytical chemistry.
  • Ability to learn and apply new techniques in analytical research.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
