Job Summary

The Trainee – Quality Assurance (QA) will support day-to-day quality assurance operations within the manufacturing and packaging areas. The role involves assisting in sampling activities, documentation management, logbook reviews, and compliance support to ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support raw material and packing material sampling activities.

  • Assist in collection of blend uniformity, swab/rinse, hold time, semi-finished goods (SFG), and finished goods (FG) stage samples.

  • Collect and submit stratified and pooled samples to the Quality Control department.

  • Submit executed batch documents to the release team and document cell.

  • Arrange sampling accessories, reserve samples, and hold-time sample cabinets.

  • Clean sampling aids, accessories, and in-process quality assurance (IPQA) cabinets.

  • Handle destruction of reserve samples as per protocol.

  • Request, receive, and submit protocols and logbooks to the document cell.

  • Issue Apo Web formats and maintain IPQA area cupboards in manufacturing and packing zones.

  • Review executed logbooks of manufacturing and packing areas.

  • Support IPQA personnel in routine and special activities.

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.

  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory, quality, and safety standards.

Education

  • Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Pharm / Degree in Science or an equivalent discipline.


Experience Level

  • Entry Level: 0–1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or related fields.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

  • Positive attitude and professional work temperament.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Basic understanding of GMP, sampling, and QA documentation practices.
