Job Overview

Clario is seeking an experienced Study Release Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and release of clinical study software across multiple environments. This role is critical to ensuring reliable system performance, seamless integrations, and high-quality delivery for global clinical trials.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in application deployment, server environments, SQL scripting, and release engineering within regulated or enterprise technology environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy clinical study applications across Development, Staging, UAT, and Production environments

  • Support and troubleshoot product-related issues during implementation, deployment, and post-release phases

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain configuration, installation, and qualification documentation

  • Execute and manage SQL scripts as part of clinical study releases

  • Configure and maintain web servers for study deployments

  • Mentor and support onboarding of new team members

  • Assist management in developing training materials, internal checklists, and best practices

  • Ensure deployments meet quality, compliance, and operational standards


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent practical experience

  • 4–7 years of experience with Microsoft server operating systems

  • Strong hands-on experience with IIS, .NET applications, and Apache Tomcat

  • Solid understanding of VMWare, load balancers, and firewall configurations

  • Minimum 2 years of experience running and writing SQL scripts on relational database servers

  • Experience with release automation and scripting tools (Ruby, Perl, Bash, or Python preferred)

  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
