Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required.
  • Commitment to continuous education to maintain licensure is essential.

Licensure and Certifications

  • Licensure by the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy is mandatory.
  • Ongoing certification(s) and education to maintain licensure are required.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced mathematical abilities.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy and word processing software is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with medical, nursing, and other healthcare staff.

Experience

  • Preferred: At least one year of experience as a licensed pharmacist.

Physical Requirements
