About the Role:
As a Senior Technician in Metrology and Qualification, you will be responsible for executing calibration and qualification activities for laboratory equipment. This role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance of laboratory instrumentation and systems, supporting Vantive's commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and qualification on laboratory instruments and equipment as per defined procedures.

  • Act as a liaison between laboratory supervisors, external suppliers, and the Quality team to ensure seamless coordination of activities.

  • Oversee calibration/qualification across BARC and other Bangalore locations, ensuring consistent implementation.

  • Review and maintain protocols and reports related to calibration and qualification activities.

  • Identify potential technical issues proactively, report concerns, and propose practical solutions.

  • Participate in the implementation and coordination of global calibration/qualification initiatives.

  • Continuously work to improve technical and scientific methods, focusing on optimizing experimental and lab processes.

  • Adhere to GLP standards and Quality Systems, playing a key role in audit readiness and compliance.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in calibration and qualification within a GLP-regulated lab environment, preferably in pharma, biotech, or med device industries.

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment, calibration tools, and quality standards.

  • Familiarity with audit preparation and documentation standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a cross-functional environment.
