Role Summary

As a Sr Statistical Programmer, you will develop and maintain analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures (ADaM, TLFs) to support clinical trials. You will provide advanced programming expertise, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with statistical and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, validate, and maintain programs for analysis datasets, tables, and figures

  • Provide comprehensive statistical programming support to statisticians, clients, and project teams

  • Source, organize, and interpret complex datasets using advanced programming techniques

  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues

  • Evaluate and improve existing programming processes for efficiency and productivity

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior programmers

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals

  • Stay current with the latest statistical programming tools and techniques


Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in statistical programming, with expertise in safety & efficacy datasets

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in SAS (ADaM, SDTM, TLFs)

    • Knowledge of R or Python is a plus

    • Familiarity with data visualization tools

  • Core Skills:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability

    • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies

    • Effective communication and teamwork skills

    • Ability to manage multiple projects independently

    • High attention to detail and quality


Certifications (Preferred)

  • SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 (or equivalent)

  • Certification in statistical programming or data analysis
