Position Summary

The Sr. Statistical Programmer (ADaM, TLFs) will be responsible for developing, validating, and maintaining programs to create analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs). This role will provide statistical programming support to statisticians, clients, and cross-functional teams while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain programs for analysis datasets, tables, and figures (ADaM, TLFs)

  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with statistical and regulatory standards

  • Provide statistical programming support to statisticians and clients, including issue resolution

  • Source, organize, and interpret complex datasets using advanced coding techniques

  • Collaborate with statisticians and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality outputs

  • Evaluate and optimize programming processes to improve efficiency and productivity

  • Contribute to process, program, and policy design and implementation

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior programmers

  • Manage statistical programming deliverables aligned with organizational goals

  • Stay current with advancements in programming languages, tools, and data analysis techniques


Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of statistical programming experience, with expertise in Safety & Efficacy datasets

  • Strong proficiency in SAS (ADaM, TLFs) with knowledge of R or Python preferred

  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously


Certifications (Preferred)

  • SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 (or equivalent)

  • Certification in statistical programming or data analysis (preferred)


Key Skills

  • Proficiency in statistical programming (SAS, R, or Python)

  • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and clinical trial data structures

  • Data manipulation and advanced coding expertise

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance

  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities

This role (P22 level) contributes significantly to:

  • Designing and delivering statistical programming processes and outputs

  • Managing or directing project deliverables and mentoring junior programmers

  • Ensuring statistical programming support meets the needs of statisticians, clients, and business stakeholders
