Position Overview

The Sr. Associate, Field Effectiveness plays a hands-on, data-driven role in improving sales force effectiveness through data analysis, reporting, and operational execution.
This role operates at the intersection of data analytics, commercial operations, and field strategy, enabling actionable insights and operational excellence.

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Field Excellence


Key Responsibilities

1. Field Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze data from Veeva CRM, distribution partners, claims, and patient services.

  • Evaluate sales execution, reach, frequency, HCP engagement trends, and targeting effectiveness.

  • Deliver actionable insights and reports for sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

2. Operational Execution & Field Enablement

  • Support territory alignments, roster updates, and call-plan execution.

  • Oversee delivery of field tools (e.g., Veeva CRM, dashboards, digital companion tools, alerts).

  • Provide technical and operational issue resolution and escalate as needed.

3. Sales Force Size, Structure & Deployment

  • Assist with field force sizing, structure, and deployment analyses.

  • Support coverage and targeting evaluations to align with market priorities.

  • Implement alignment changes based on market dynamics.

4. Field Force Effectiveness

  • Enhance sales productivity via coverage optimization and call planning.

  • Conduct targeting audits to assess workload balance, call frequency, and engagement quality.

5. Compliance, Quality & Process Optimization

  • Ensure compliance with promotional/non-promotional engagement regulations (e.g., Sunshine Act, sampling rules).

  • Maintain process documentation and audit readiness.

  • Identify and implement automation and efficiency improvements.

6. Project Support, Issue Tracking & Reporting

  • Manage project issues and action items through JIRA and ServiceNow.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation (timelines, logs, issue trackers).

  • Support governance and knowledge transfer.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in sales analytics, operations, or field effectiveness
    or

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in the same fields

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry

  • Hands-on skills in SQL, data analysis, visualization, and reporting

  • Proficiency with tools such as:

    • Veeva CRM

    • Tableau, Power BI, Excel

    • Sales planning platforms (targeting, alignment, roster management)

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and provide clear insights to stakeholders
