Job Description – HEVA Specialist

Role Purpose

This role supports the Health Economics & Value Assessment (HEVA) team in generating robust evidence and insights that demonstrate the value of Sanofi’s therapies. The position focuses on:

  • Planning and executing health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) projects.

  • Developing global and US-focused value propositions.

  • Supporting market access strategies and evidence dissemination.


Key Responsibilities

Evidence Generation & Research

  • Support the design and execution of health economics and value-based evidence across therapy areas.

  • Contribute to projects such as burden of illness studies, epidemiology, literature reviews, meta-analyses, observational studies (retrospective & prospective), economic evaluations, and patient-reported outcomes.

  • Provide input on trial design recommendations and economic modeling.

  • Develop and maintain therapy area expertise.

Value Communication & Dossiers

  • Support development of Core Value Dossiers (CVDs) and AMCP dossiers.

  • Assist in creating strategic HEVA evidence materials aligned with CVDs and global/local requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to HEVA evidence generation guidelines, templates, and processes.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with HEVA, RWE, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Marketing, External Affairs, and Market Access teams globally and locally.

  • Customize deliverables to meet evidence needs of cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external institutions.

Performance & Process Support

  • Support the HEVA evidence generation plan across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.

  • Contribute to developing HEVA strategic processes and best practices across the portfolio.

  • Assist in managing ongoing studies and ensure quality execution of approved projects.


About You

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) within:

    • Pharmaceutical industry

    • CRO consultancy

    • Academia

Education

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related discipline, or a Medical degree.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills to translate clinical and economic data into payer strategies.

  • Understanding of reimbursement decisions, value drivers, and evidence use in payer decision-making.

  • Knowledge of health economics methodologies and HTA review principles.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, scientific writing, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones.

Languages

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
