🎯 Role Purpose
The Sr. Advisor will provide PK/PD and pharmacometrics scientific leadership to project teams, guiding dose selection, patient population decisions, and development strategies across Lilly’s drug discovery and clinical development programs. This role also focuses on advancing model-informed drug discovery and development (MIDD).
🧠 Key Responsibilities
Provide PK/PD scientific leadership to project teams to support optimal dose, patient selection, and development strategies
Lead PK/PD aspects of project plans and integrate quantitative approaches into drug development
Prepare and deliver study protocols, analysis plans, data analyses, and study reports for Phase I–III trials
Prepare regulatory documents (INDs, IBs, CTDs) for new drugs and line extensions
Apply PK/PD and pharmacometric approaches to translate preclinical findings to clinical settings
Communicate quantitative data and advocate for model-based decision-making within project teams and externally
Provide coaching and mentoring to other scientists and collaborate with academic partners
Represent the group externally through publications, leadership in scientific organizations, and consortia
🎓 Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Requirements
PhD and/or MD in Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, Computational Sciences, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in PK/PD and/or Clinical Pharmacology
Additional Skills / Preferences
Strong understanding and application of PK, PD, pharmacometrics, and clinical pharmacology principles in drug development
Effective and confident communication skills
Collaborative, dynamic, and curious mindset to engage in life-changing therapies
💰 Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $142,500 – $228,800
