Primary Objective

The Specialist will be responsible for maintaining process equipment in the plant facility, ensuring adherence to cGMP and EHS systems while supporting operational efficiency and quality compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Compliance

  • Maintain plant assets and automated process equipment in compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Execute weekly maintenance schedules and identify improvement needs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and ensure timely completion of work orders in Maximo.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational and equipment issues.

Process Efficiency & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and maintain hygiene in the process area.
  • Maintain maintenance records and follow established SOPs and policies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiency projects.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow EHS systems, including work permits and LOTO procedures.
  • Ensure safety and quality are maintained across plant operations.

Collaboration & Work Environment

  • Foster a healthy work environment by building strong relationships across teams.
  • Support manufacturing teams to enhance process efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.

Experience:

  • 5-6 years of relevant experience in Dairy, Food, Pharma, or Chemical plants.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of machine operation & maintenance.
  • Understanding of cGMP, EHS, and food process industry standards.
  • Experience in handling equipment like HTG, evaporators, dryers, and blending & packing machines.
  • Proficiency in Maximo for work order management.

Accountability & Scope

  • Operate and monitor process equipment (HTG, evaporators, dryers, blending & packing).
  • Ensure compliance with food industry standards and cGMP guidelines.
  • Maintain quality standards, tools, and processing methods for production.
