Job Summary
Novo Nordisk invites applications for the role of Sourcing Specialist / Senior Sourcing Specialist at its Bangalore Global Business Services (GBS) hub. This on-site role offers the opportunity to lead end-to-end sourcing activities across various indirect categories, collaborating closely with global stakeholders in Denmark and other regions. If you possess a strong sourcing background with experience in eProcurement tools and indirect procurement, this could be your ideal next career move.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complete sourcing processes from requisition to award (RFI/RFP/RFQ).
Conduct in-depth bid analysis ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines.
Support and execute global category strategies with internal stakeholders and category managers.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms focusing on service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Engage with internal teams and external vendors to identify potential suppliers.
Drive digital sourcing excellence using eProcurement platforms, preferably Coupa.
Conduct eAuctions, contract drafting, and market research activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (MSc/MBA preferred) from a reputed university.
Minimum 8 years of experience in source-to-contract and end-to-end sourcing execution.
Proficiency in indirect procurement (Cloud, SaaS, R&D Lab services).
Strong understanding of global sourcing processes and the ability to operate independently.
Expertise with eProcurement tools, especially Coupa.
Experience with eAuction, contract drafting, and market research.
Prior exposure to the pharmaceutical domain is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
