Job Summary
Novo Nordisk is hiring for the position of Sourcing Specialist / Senior Sourcing Specialist in Bangalore, India. This role is a great opportunity for procurement professionals to drive end-to-end sourcing execution, support category managers globally, and enhance sourcing processes using cutting-edge digital tools like Coupa. You will work with global stakeholders, negotiate optimal commercial terms, and contribute to Novo Nordisk’s world-class procurement excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end sourcing activities such as RFI/RFP/RFQ in coordination with stakeholders.
Analyze supplier bids to assess price drivers and ensure compliance with procurement guidelines.
Collaborate with category managers and internal stakeholders to deliver on category strategies.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Engage with potential suppliers based on evolving business needs.
Utilize the eProcurement tool (Coupa) to drive digital excellence in sourcing operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MSc/MBA preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in source-to-contract and sourcing execution.
Proficiency in indirect procurement (Cloud, SaaS, R&D Lab categories preferred).
Experience managing global stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of sourcing processes with independent execution capability.
Proactive, solution-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator with strong ownership and autonomy.
Hands-on experience with eProcurement tools, ideally Coupa.
Exposure to eAuction, contract drafting, and market research.
Pharma domain experience is a plus.
