Senior Statistical Programmer I – Remote (India)
Job Summary
ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Senior Statistical Programmer I based in India (Remote). If you have 4+ years of experience in SAS and R programming, this is your opportunity to work on impactful clinical trials that advance global healthcare. In this role, you’ll contribute to programming activities, lead clinical study deliverables under supervision, and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Execute programming activities as per SOPs under minimal supervision.
Lead 1 clinical study with oversight, handling timelines and deliverables.
Ensure all programming tasks align with regulatory and CDISC standards.
Develop understanding of ICON's policies, procedures, and systems.
Offer suggestions for improving current programming best practices.
Demonstrate strong programming and domain knowledge in clinical trial data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in SAS and R programming in clinical trials or biostatistics.
Ability to independently lead programming for a study with support.
Proficiency in clinical data programming, including CDISC standards.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in clinical data management.
Demonstrated expertise in identifying process improvements.
Good communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
