ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Senior Statistical Programmer I in India. This full-time, remote position is ideal for experienced programmers with expertise in R, SQL, and Oncology-specific data analysis. The role involves creating high-quality visualizations for Oncology analyses using R Shiny, working with claims databases, and contributing to evolving clinical programming standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Oncology-specific visualizations using R Shiny.
Apply advanced programming skills in R and SQL.
Work with claims databases such as Optum, Marketscan, and Oncology databases like Flatiron and COTA.
Conduct Oncology-specific analyses, including Line of Therapy algorithms and survival analyses.
Utilize various statistical models for clinical data evaluation.
Define and create tumor-specific Line of Therapies.
Follow CDISC guidelines or use Instant Health Data (IHD) if applicable.
Maintain knowledge of coding systems and assist in RW Code list creation.
Handle Analytic Datasets and patient cohort data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven expertise in R and SQL programming.
Strong experience with R Shiny for Oncology-specific visualizations.
Knowledge of claims and Oncology databases (e.g., Optum, Marketscan, Flatiron, COTA).
Background in Oncology-specific analyses (e.g., survival analysis, statistical models).
Familiarity with CDISC guidelines or IHD tools preferred.
Understanding of coding systems and RW Code list creation.
Experience with Analytic Datasets and patient cohorts desirable.
Strong problem-solving and domain knowledge in clinical data analysis.
