Job Overview

Sanofi is seeking an experienced Senior Scientific Writer – Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) to join its Global Hub in Hyderabad, India. This role is central to developing high-impact scientific and value-based communication deliverables that support global access, reimbursement, and healthcare decision-making across multiple therapeutic areas.

The position offers an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio ranging from established medicines to innovative therapies across immunology, chronic diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular health, and transplantation.

Sanofi Global Hub (SGH) is a strategic internal resource organization based in India, supporting Sanofi’s global Medical, HEVA, Commercial, R&D, Data, and Digital functions. SGH partners closely with global and regional teams to deliver high-quality scientific, value, and evidence-based communication aligned with global healthcare needs.


Key Responsibilities

HEVA Scientific Communication

  • Develop high-quality HEVA deliverables including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and value communication materials aligned with global HEVA strategy

  • Manage and maintain Core Value Dossiers, Core Value Decks, and US AMCP dossiers across assigned products and portfolios

  • Ensure consistent scientific and value messaging across submissions and publications

Publication & Process Management

  • Manage end-to-end publication workflows using iEnvision (Datavision/Matrix)

  • Ensure compliance with Good Publication Practice (GPP), internal SOPs, and regulatory requirements

  • Conduct publication needs assessments and support annual publication planning

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with HEVA, RWE, and Scientific Communications teams at global and local levels

  • Support interactions with healthcare professionals and external publication partners

  • Coordinate with vendors to deliver publication outputs as per defined timelines and quality standards

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Coach and mentor junior HEVA writers

  • Review and provide scientific and editorial guidance on content developed by team members

  • Build and maintain therapeutic area expertise

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the impact and relevance of HEVA communications

  • Leverage digital tools and AI-enabled processes to optimize scientific storytelling and value evidence dissemination


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:

    • 4+ years of experience in scientific or medical content development within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or academic environment

    • Demonstrated experience in HEVA, HEOR, health economics, or outcomes research–related content

  • Education:

    • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or a related scientific discipline

    • Medical degree is an added advantage

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of health economics, value assessment, and real-world evidence concepts

    • Familiarity with AMCP dossiers, Core Value Dossiers, and publication submission processes

    • Understanding of publication compliance standards and SOPs

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

    • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities

    • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within global teams
