The Position:
Novo Nordisk is looking for a Competency Development Professional to join the Global Patient Safety (GPS) team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing innovative learning methodologies and improving onboarding and training programs for employees. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team to implement competency frameworks and support continuous learning for employees at Novo Nordisk.
Key responsibilities include:
Onboarding & Training: Organize and align onboarding programs across Global Patient Safety, Bangalore.
Learning Methodologies: Define and implement innovative learning methodologies and technologies to enhance the learner experience.
Process Optimization: Drive initiatives aimed at optimizing training processes to increase effectiveness.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate, collaborate, and take action to ensure successful implementation of training initiatives.
Learning Design: Support the design and execution of learning programs to meet the growing needs of the team and organization.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.
Experience:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance.
Exposure to training and coordination activities within the pharmacovigilance domain is preferred.
Expertise: A solid understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and regulatory requirements.
Skills:
Strong insight into the value chain within a pharmaceutical company.
Proven track record in establishing effective learning and development governance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive training programs.

Global Patient Safety in Bangalore is globally responsible for monitoring the safety and quality of Novo Nordisk’s clinical development and marketed products. The team handles the global reporting of adverse event reports and plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients globally.
