Job Overview
The Senior Research Associate plays a critical role in supporting clinical trial operations by performing advanced paramedical and patient care activities. This position involves direct interaction with study participants, execution of clinical procedures, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards within clinical research settings.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct vital sign assessments including blood pressure monitoring, ECG recordings, and blood sample collection in accordance with study protocols
Support clinical screening procedures and provide patient care across clinical units
Perform and manage paramedical and nursing-related activities within the clinical research environment
Assist in dosing activities, including preparation and administration of study medications
Execute and oversee phlebotomy procedures with accuracy and compliance
Support calibration and maintenance of clinical equipment such as ECG machines, thermometers, cardiac monitors, and sphygmomanometers
Act as a clinical custodian by ensuring patient comfort, including assistance with meals, hygiene, and bedding
Manage ICU-related activities and emergency procedures including RT insertion and Foley catheterization when required
Ensure proper segregation and disposal of biomedical waste in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control standards within clinical areas
Monitor and manage inventory of paramedical supplies and ensure timely availability of required materials

Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or equivalent qualification in a relevant healthcare discipline
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in clinical operations, hospital settings, or clinical research environments

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong clinical and patient care skills with attention to detail
Sound knowledge of clinical procedures and emergency handling
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical research environment
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
