Job Overview

Quanticate is hiring a Senior Programmer II (RWE) to support advanced Real World Evidence and healthcare analytics projects. The selected candidate will work with real-world healthcare datasets, including claims databases, electronic medical records (EMR), payer databases, and longitudinal patient data.

The role requires strong expertise in SAS Programming, SQL, data manipulation, quality control, and healthcare data analysis to generate accurate tables, listings, figures, and derived datasets for clinical and outcomes research projects.

This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients while contributing to evidence-based healthcare innovations and data-driven clinical research.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and generate Tables, Figures, and Listings (TFLs) as per project specifications

  • Create, validate, and maintain derived datasets using SAS and SQL

  • Perform quality control (QC) checks on programming outputs and datasets

  • Maintain detailed documentation for programming and QC activities

  • Extract, clean, transform, and manage large healthcare datasets

  • Collaborate closely with the Outcomes Research (OR) and programming teams

  • Ensure adherence to project management guidelines and programming standards

  • Optimize and modify SAS macros for efficient data processing

  • Support junior programmers through mentoring and technical guidance

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and programming best practices

  • Work with longitudinal healthcare datasets, including:

    • Medical claims databases

    • Pharmacy claims datasets

    • Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

    • Hospital and payer data


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in SAS Programming for clinical and healthcare data analysis

  • Advanced SQL knowledge for querying and managing large-scale datasets

  • Experience handling Real World Data (RWD) and Real World Evidence (RWE) projects

  • Understanding of healthcare datasets, payer databases, EMR, and claims data

  • Knowledge of statistical programming methodologies and data standards

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

  • Experience with SAS macros, data derivations, and validation processes

Educational Qualification
