Senior Principal Statistician – Remote | EVERSANA
Job Summary:
EVERSANA is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Principal Statistician to lead and deliver advanced biostatistics and HEOR projects including real-world evidence, trial analyses, simulation studies, and statistical modeling. This is a fully remote role offering a competitive salary range of $177,000 to $200,000 annually, ideal for professionals with 5–8 years of experience in health research and proven R programming expertise. The role combines scientific leadership with project management and mentorship in a fast-paced, patient-centric healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead biostatistics projects including indirect comparisons (NMA, MAIC), PSM studies, and RWE.
Design and execute statistical analysis plans and reports for HEOR, HTA, and clinical trials.
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on statistical methods across teams.
Develop reproducible workflows using R, RStudio, Git, and AWS.
Collaborate with IT to resolve technical platform issues.
Create innovative code (R, Shiny, JAGS) to enhance team efficiency.
Lead statistical training, mentorship, and internal process improvements.
Oversee client communication, data transfer compliance, and quality control.
Drive business development through technical proposal input and thought leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in statistics applied to HEOR, RWE, or HTA.
Advanced proficiency in R programming and reproducible data science workflows.
Demonstrated expertise in evidence synthesis and modeling techniques.
Excellent problem-solving, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.
Prior experience in statistical supervision and cross-functional leadership.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and statistical collaboration tools.
Experience working with clinical, payer, or patient-reported outcomes data.
