JOB OVERVIEW

The Senior Medical Reviewer is a therapeutically aligned clinical scientist responsible for ensuring the scientific accuracy, medical quality, and compliance of promotional and non-promotional medical content. The role serves as a key medical partner to Commercial and Medical Affairs teams, contributing scientific expertise, content review, medical strategy, publications, and stakeholder engagement across Lilly's product portfolio.


ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND

The Global Content Hub (GCH) Senior Medical Reviewer team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of medical accuracy, scientific integrity, and compliance across all customer-facing materials. The team collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant medical information.


JOB PURPOSE

To provide therapeutic and scientific expertise in reviewing, developing, and approving medical and promotional materials while supporting brand strategies, scientific communications, medical affairs initiatives, and customer engagement activities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial & Medical Affairs Support

  • Serve as a key medical point of contact for Commercial and Medical Affairs teams.

  • Review and approve promotional and non-promotional medical content.

  • Support development and review of local, regional, and global medical materials.

  • Provide scientific input for brand plans and medical strategies.

  • Communicate clinical and treatment landscape insights for Lilly products.

  • Support medical training initiatives for internal stakeholders.


Scientific Content Review & Development

  • Review scientific accuracy, medical relevance, and compliance of content.

  • Contribute to development of promotional materials.

  • Review global and regional content for local adaptation.

  • Ensure materials align with regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Translate complex scientific information into clear, customer-focused communication.


Medical Affairs & Scientific Communication

  • Support development of:

    • Scientific presentations

    • Slide decks

    • Abstracts

    • Posters

    • Manuscripts

    • Publications

  • Assist in data analysis and scientific interpretation.

  • Contribute to Scientific Data Disclosure (SDD) plans.

  • Support evidence dissemination activities.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with:

    • Clinical Research Physicians (CRPs)

    • Clinical Research Scientists (CRSs)

    • Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)

    • Marketing Teams

    • Regulatory Affairs
