Senior Medical Coder – MedDRA, WHODrug & SAE Reconciliation
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Job Description:
Clinovo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Coder with hands-on experience in MedDRA and WHODrug coding, as well as Serious Adverse Event (SAE) Reconciliation. This role demands strong domain knowledge of complex medical terminologies and pharmacovigilance standards. You will be working with a dynamic team, contributing to clinical and safety data accuracy while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate coding of medical terms using MedDRA and WHODrug dictionaries.
Conduct SAE reconciliation between clinical databases and safety databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Data Management and Pharmacovigilance.
Maintain consistency and accuracy of medical terminology across systems.
Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards and internal SOPs.
Identify and resolve discrepancies and coding-related issues.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in medical coding.
Proficient in MedDRA, WHODrug, and SAE reconciliation practices.
Strong grasp of medical and pharmacological terms.
Ability to interpret clinical documentation and adverse event narratives.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Immediate joiners preferred.
