Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Manager / Director – Patient and Medical Analytics SME with deep expertise in patient journey analytics, real-world data (RWD), and outcomes research. The role focuses on leading analytics engagements for global pharma clients, providing insights that drive medical affairs, commercial strategy, and market access decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead patient analytics initiatives for global pharmaceutical clients as the subject matter expert (SME) on RWD, EMR/EHR, claims, lab data, registries, and patient-reported outcomes.

  • Understand client objectives related to patient outcomes, adherence, access, and treatment pathways.

  • Design and implement analytical frameworks to evaluate patient journeys, treatment adherence, drop-offs, and therapy effectiveness.

  • Integrate and analyze diverse data sources to generate actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform commercial strategy, medical affairs, HEOR, and RWE studies.

  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to identify patterns in disease progression, therapy adoption, and unmet patient needs.

  • Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR) and ethical standards in patient data handling.

  • Build reusable analytics assets, accelerators, and frameworks to optimize patient analytics delivery.

  • Participate in client pitches and solutioning as a medical analytics SME.

  • Contribute to thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and internal capability-building initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or a related field.

  • 15+ years of experience in patient or medical analytics within the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain.

  • Expertise in patient journey analyses, adherence studies, outcomes research, and RWD applications.

  • Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms such as SAS, R, Python, Snowflake, or Databricks.

  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas and disease-specific data considerations.

  • Excellent client management, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments with global teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience contributing to HEOR and RWE studies for pharma clients.

  • Knowledge of building reusable analytics frameworks and accelerators.

  • Prior experience in publishing thought leadership content or delivering webinars.
