Senior Manager – Medical Data & Analytics Lead (Hyderabad)
Job Summary
Amgen is hiring a Senior Manager – Medical Data & Analytics Lead at its Hyderabad location. This on-site role is perfect for seasoned analytics professionals with a strong pharmaceutical or biotechnology background. You will lead multiple analytics pods and collaborate across medical, commercial, and tech functions to deliver high-impact insights and data solutions across therapeutic areas like Oncology, General Medicine, and Inflammation.

Key Responsibilities
Lead 3+ analytics pods delivering end-to-end medical data insights.
Drive experimentation with AI/ML and predictive modeling to support global medical strategies.
Manage KPI dashboards, targeting/segmentation, and performance analysis.
Direct project planning, team assignments, and cross-functional coordination.
Lead the center of excellence for Medical Data & Analytics in India.
Identify business improvement areas and implement modern analytics tools.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless data platform and process alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Doctorate with 4+ years OR Master’s with 8–10 years OR Bachelor’s with 10–12 years in Data Analytics.
5+ years in managerial roles, with experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.
Experience in the US pharmaceutical market (commercial or medical focus).
Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Databricks, PowerBI.
Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication skills.
Expertise in data lakes, analytics platforms, data modeling, and visualization.
Passion for data exploration, visualization, and driving data-informed strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in multinational corporations or global capability centers.
Experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
Proven ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor.
