Senior Manager Medical Affairs

Location: Mumbai, India

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Lead and supervise a team of 2+ professionals within the Medical Affairs sub-function.
  • Serve as the first-level manager, overseeing professionals, technical, and/or administrative staff.
  • Focus on mentoring, coaching, and coordination, without direct budget or hiring authority.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise professionals in planning and executing clinical trials (Phases III & IV).
  • Oversee clinical research, data collection, and protocol implementation.
  • Recruit clinical investigators and negotiate study designs and costs.
  • Manage adverse event reporting and safety monitoring.
  • Coordinate regulatory reporting and ensure adherence to study protocols.
  • Lead investigator-initiated and group studies.
  • Serve as a consultant/liaison in licensing agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree (± 13 years).
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in Medical Affairs.
