Job Summary
A leading healthcare organization in Aurangabad is hiring a Senior Manager – IP DRG & Outpatient Coding to lead a team of 100+ Quality Analysts. This role requires deep expertise in hospital and physician coding, RCM processes, and quality management systems. The ideal candidate will bring 11–15 years of experience in medical coding, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in coding quality and compliance. Salary ranges between ₹20–40 LPA, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced coding professionals to take on a strategic leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage a team of 100+ Quality Analysts.
Create an inspiring team environment with open communication.
Design and implement QA capacity planning as per project needs.
Manage quality of OP (ED/EM/SDS/ANC/OBV), ProFee Surgery & EM, and IP DRG projects.
Ensure quality control in line with client SLAs.
Conduct random audits of auditors and perform RCA on audit observations.
Identify knowledge gaps and create action plans with QA leads and operations managers.
Discover training needs and provide coaching to QAs.
Recognize and reward high performance and achievements.
Encourage business improvement initiatives and team-building activities.
Monitor performance metrics and ensure effective implementation of the Quality Management System.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate degree in a relevant field.
11–15 years of experience in medical coding and RCM quality management.
Strong expertise in E&M-IP/OP, APC, UHDDS guidelines, and medical documentation.
Knowledge of Human Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Operative Reports.
Strong understanding of HIPAA, CLIA rules, and coding compliance.
Experience supervising large QA teams (100+).
Ability to design QA capacity planning and manage audits.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
