Job Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced Senior and Lead MICC Associates to support and manage activities within the Medical Information Contact Center (MICC). This role is crucial to handling pharmacovigilance-related communication, documentation, and client coordination through calls and emails, focusing on Adverse Events (AE), Product Quality Complaints (PQC), Medical Inquiries (MI), and General Inquiries (GI). The ideal candidate will serve as both a hands-on contributor and mentor, supporting audits, ensuring compliance, and guiding junior team members.


Key Responsibilities:

Communication and Case Management:

  • Handle incoming calls and emails related to AE, PQC, MI, and GI.

  • Perform case intake, duplicate checks, and case registration.

  • Execute follow-up inquiries via phone/email with proper documentation.

  • Translate inquiries if required, especially when not in English.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain MICC-related documentation as per SOPs.

  • Ensure all entries are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable regulations.

Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Act as a mentor to junior MICC team members.

  • Provide guidance on case handling, quality expectations, and SOP compliance.

Audit and Compliance Support:

  • Assist during audits and inspections, providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.

  • Support internal quality reviews and contribute to process improvement initiatives.


Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Proven subject matter expertise in MICC operations related to pharmacovigilance.

  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance case processing standards, medical terminology, and global PV regulations.

  • 3–5 years of experience in MICC for Senior Associate, 5–7 years for Lead Associate.

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, dentistry, allied health sciences, or equivalent.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client coordination.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, audit-ready environments.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in multi-tasking.


Estimated Salary:

  • Senior MICC Associate: ₹6 – ₹9 LPA

  • Lead MICC Associate: ₹9 – ₹13 LPA
