Role Summary:

As a Senior or Lead Clinical Data Science Programmer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining clinical databases in accordance with agreed requirements and timelines. This role involves working cross-functionally and collaborating with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of clinical data systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute initial clinical database builds and perform updates in accordance with defined specifications and timelines.

  • Contribute to technical/process improvement initiatives related to database programming and build workflows.

  • Collaborate with vendors providing programming support for clinical database development.

  • Work cross-functionally with teams to resolve delivery or quality-related issues in clinical databases.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science/Informatics, or a life sciences discipline.

  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry with involvement in global clinical studies, systems, or projects.

  • Hands-on experience in clinical database programming or a closely related role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
