Role Overview
IQVIA is hiring a Senior Java Developer with strong full-stack development expertise to lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance applications. The role requires deep experience in React-based front-end architecture and at least one backend technology such as Java Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python, with exposure to microservices architecture.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building robust, reusable, and production-ready systems aligned with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Architecture & Development
Lead the design and development of front-end architecture using React.js or React TypeScript (preferred).
Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces optimized for scalability and maintainability.
Implement state management using Redux, Saga, or similar frameworks.
Back-End & Microservices Development
Develop server-side logic using Java Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python (at least one required).
Design and implement RESTful APIs.
Apply microservices design patterns and ensure scalable distributed architecture.
Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and performance.
Quality & DevOps Practices
Perform unit testing using Jest or similar frameworks.
Ensure high code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
Work with version control systems such as Git.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation using tools like GitLab.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, QA, and DevOps.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Support continuous improvement in development practices and performance optimization.
Required Experience
Minimum 8+ years of professional software development experience.
Proven experience in full-stack or front-end-focused development roles.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, DOM manipulation, and modern ES6+ features.
In-depth understanding of React.js core principles and component lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with Redux, Saga, or similar state management frameworks.
Practical experience with at least one backend technology: Java Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with Git-based version control systems.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Advanced experience with Redux and Saga.
Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Webpack, NPM, and related ecosystems.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Experience developing enterprise-scale applications in regulated industries.
