Role Overview

Clarivate is seeking a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst – Provider Data Integration to join its Provider Analytics team. This role is designed for experienced healthcare data professionals who thrive on solving complex, high-impact problems using large-scale healthcare datasets. The position offers an opportunity to work with some of the world’s most comprehensive provider, hospital, and health system data to support data-driven decision-making and healthcare transformation.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, hands-on experience with healthcare data ecosystems, and the ability to lead data-centric engagements from problem definition through execution and delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to develop and enhance data products within the healthcare provider domain.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable processes for analyzing structured and unstructured healthcare datasets using SQL, Tableau, Python, and related analytics tools.

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional, data-driven initiatives, ensuring delivery against defined scope, timelines, and quality expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to translate business questions into effective analytical solutions.

  • Develop innovative approaches to address non-standard and complex analytical requests.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve team productivity, analytical rigor, and solution effectiveness.


Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Quantitative Sciences, or a related discipline,
    OR equivalent relevant professional experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in analytics roles utilizing SQL and relational databases, working with both structured and unstructured data.

  • Demonstrated experience working with medical, hospital, provider, or health system datasets (mandatory).

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience using data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Spotfire.


Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database environments.

  • Strong experience with healthcare data integration, transformation, and analysis.

  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets using BI and analytics tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable analytical solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms.

  • Exposure to claims data analytics.

  • Hands-on experience with data wrangling and visualization using advanced BI tools.
