Senior Healthcare Research Data Analyst – On-Site (Karnataka)

Job Summary:

Clarivate seeks an experienced Senior Healthcare Research Data Analyst to join its Medtech Insights Team in Bangalore, Karnataka. This on-site position offers a dynamic role in the healthcare and life sciences sector, focusing on developing market research reports, forecasting models, and strategic data analysis for the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, research, and business communication skills to support Fortune 500 clients with impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and audit detailed market research reports with quantitative and qualitative data on global medical device markets.
Construct data-driven market models using proprietary healthcare datasets and public domain resources such as financial, regulatory, and government data.
Conduct interviews with key industry stakeholders and medical professionals to generate deep market insights.
Understand client-specific requirements and problem-solve for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500 firms.
Collaborate across multiple teams on large-scale projects influencing data models and business strategies.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data usage and product development strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Master’s degree (MA, MS in life sciences or MBA), Pharm D, or PhD.
Minimum 5 years of relevant healthcare research or data analytics experience.
Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
Strong critical thinking, analytical abilities, and business communication skills.
Experience in developing data forecasting models.
Ability to work independently and produce high-quality deliverables with minimal rework.
Effective communicator capable of handling Fortune 500 clients and presenting findings clearly.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of market research methodologies.
Experience with R, Python, or similar analytical tools.
Familiarity with project management.
Strong grasp of microeconomics and business operations.
Attention to detail with expertise in data quality control (QC).
