Overview

Clarivate is seeking a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our MedTech Data team in Bengaluru. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with real-world healthcare and medical device datasets, conduct primary and secondary market research, perform competitive analysis, forecasting, and support customized consulting projects. The Senior Analyst will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions for global medical device and healthcare companies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and challenges, partnering with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.

  • Build, mine, and manage multiple datasets to support market modeling, analysis, and forecasting.

  • Maintain and update MedTech product catalogs, including segmentation, competitor tracking, and market trends.

  • Research novel device markets, evaluating competitor products, usage patterns, and market potential.

  • Validate and analyze data outputs, identify errors, and generate actionable insights for decision-making.

  • Contribute to product evolution, data models, and analytics strategy with a focus on improving data accuracy and usability.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize processes and ensure high-quality project delivery.


Qualifications and Prerequisites

  • B.E., M.Sc., or equivalent degree in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, or related Life Sciences disciplines.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis using SQL and Python.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

  • Solid presentation, reporting, and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with MedTech or healthcare claims/pharmacy datasets.

  • Exposure to data from external vendors and complex data environments.

  • Knowledge of additional analytics and visualization tools, such as R, Tableau, or Power BI.

  • Understanding of healthcare, medical device, and biopharma markets.

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

  • Core working hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST (flexible overlap with US/EU time zones)

  • Hybrid work mode combining on-site presence in Bengaluru with remote collaboration
