Job Title: Sr. Healthcare Research & Data Analyst – Medtech

Location: Bangalore, India
Department: Medtech Team
Work Mode: Hybrid (12 PM IST – 9 PM IST)


JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Medtech team in Bangalore. This role involves conducting market research (primary & secondary), competitive analysis, insight generation, and custom consulting projects focused on medical devices and healthcare markets.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams across different global locations, contributing to market research reports, project management, and stakeholder communication. The Medtech team consists of 40 colleagues based in India, Toronto (Canada), and Barcelona (Spain), reporting to respective team managers.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Graduate or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in primary market research, respondent recruitment, data collection, and project management.
  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or consulting.
  • Experience working with global stakeholders (US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc.).

Key Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in market research methodologies and project execution.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
  • Business acumen to support sales success, process improvements, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of survey design and questionnaire review.
  • Multilingual proficiency (French, German, Italian, Spanish).
  • Expertise in at least one medical device therapeutic area.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data organization strategies).
  • Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research & Data Analysis:

  • Conduct primary and secondary market research for the medical devices and healthcare sectors.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry insights.
  • Work with internal analysts and external partners to gather high-quality data and insights.
  • Translate research findings into reports, presentations, and business recommendations.

Project Management & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion.
  • Identify and process interview respondents and manage honoraria for participants.
  • Organize and support international telephone interviews with industry experts.
  • Attend kick-off meetings and communicate project progress, changes, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring data integrity.

Product Operations & Business Support:

  • Ensure product launch readiness (pricing, legal, quality checks).
  • Support sales, marketing, and product teams by monitoring delivery timelines.
  • Create templates and standardized resources for team efficiency.
  • Manage risks, identify solutions, and report progress to leadership.

The Medtech Team is composed of data and subject matter experts responsible for delivering:

  • Syndicated market research reports
  • Custom consulting projects
  • Data-driven insights for medical device markets

The team leverages real-world healthcare data, expert interviews, and in-house expertise to help medical device companies make strategic business decisions.

Global Presence: Toronto (Canada), Bangalore (India), Barcelona (Spain).
