Summary
The Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst will join Clarivate’s Medtech Data team in Bangalore. The role involves conducting primary and secondary market research, competitive analysis, clinical trial and financial analysis, forecasting, insight generation, report writing, and custom consulting projects for medical devices and healthcare markets. This position also focuses on managing data governance, workflows, and dashboards related to third-party data partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
Conduct primary and secondary research on medical devices and healthcare markets
Perform competitive, clinical trial, and financial analysis
Generate actionable insights and forecasts
Produce comprehensive market research reports and custom consulting deliverables
Data Governance & Workflow Management
Support licensing managers in constructing and managing global workflows for non-commercially licensed sources
Maintain a SharePoint-based database housing all data partnership information
Administer PowerBI dashboards to communicate governance requirements and commercial outcomes
Interface with technology and data teams to ensure a reliable workflow for third-party asset requests, approvals, and logging
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
Collaborate with commercial negotiators, licensing analysts, and business leaders
Support senior managers in evaluating commercial ROI and investment decisions
Provide dashboards and reports to inform business leadership
Qualifications & Experience
Required
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline
At least 5 years of experience working with SharePoint and PowerBI
Strong knowledge of MS 365 platform tools: SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI
Experience working with business systems for data ingestion, export, and workflow creation (e.g., JIRA)
Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and solve problems
Preferred / Desirable
Experience in market research or consulting in medical devices and healthcare markets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
About the Team
The Medtech Data team consists of ~40 colleagues across India. The team specializes in market research and consulting for medical devices and healthcare markets, providing insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions.
