Salary Range: $239,000 – $261,250 (plus bonus & equity)

Role Summary

The Senior Director of Computational Biology will lead Eikon’s efforts to analyze complex biological data, drive discovery through computational strategy, and integrate cutting-edge tools to accelerate drug discovery and biomarker development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a cross-functional computational biology team

  • Analyze high-dimensional, proprietary biological data (e.g., single molecule tracking)

  • Develop robust workflows for target identification and biomarker strategy

  • Leverage machine learning and systems biology approaches

  • Collaborate across biology, software engineering, and leadership teams

  • Interpret, communicate, and publish scientific insights

  • Mentor scientists and align computational efforts with company goals


Qualifications

  • Ph.D. with 12+ years or Bachelor’s with 15+ years in Biology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related field

  • Proven track record in drug discovery and applying computational methods to biological problems

  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience (Biotech/Pharma mix preferred)

  • Expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and bioinformatics platforms

  • Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills

  • Passionate about innovation, collaboration, and driving scientific breakthroughs
