About the Role:
Medtronic is hiring a Senior Compliance Specialist to support its Global Channel Compliance team within the Office of Integrity, Privacy & Compliance (OPIC). This role will focus on identifying and mitigating risks associated with channel partners, enhancing process efficiency, and developing global compliance programs. The ideal candidate will bring legal, audit, or compliance experience and a strategic mindset to drive results in a global healthcare leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of compliance policies and strategies related to channel partners.
Advise stakeholders on ethical interactions with third-party channel partners.
Analyze the effectiveness of current compliance programs and identify improvement areas.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of anti-corruption, auditing, and compliance standards.
Design and deliver targeted training and communication plans for channel partner compliance.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders including Legal, Compliance Officers, and Distributor Relationship Owners (DROs).
Gain expertise in the company’s third-party management systems and training platforms.
Represent the Global Channel Compliance team in a professional and ethical manner.
Model a strong culture of integrity, ethics, and accountability.
Travel requirement: Less than 25%.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ years with an advanced degree) in Legal, Compliance, or Audit.
Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word).
Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
Ability to independently manage complex issues and communicate at all organizational levels.
Experience working across time zones; availability to collaborate with U.S. Central Time zone.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Power BI (optional but preferred).
Prior exposure to compliance frameworks for channel partner governance.
Experience in global or regional corporate compliance environments.
Knowledge of third-party management tools and training deployment systems.
Work Environment:
Hybrid work model based in Hyderabad (Nanakramguda).
Occasional late-evening meetings to align with U.S. Central time zone.
