Job Summary:
ICON plc is hiring a Senior Clinical System Designer for its Bangalore office to spearhead the design and implementation of innovative clinical systems. This role is key to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring regulatory compliance across global clinical trials. Ideal for professionals with a background in biomedical engineering, computer science, or clinical technology, this position combines leadership, strategic system design, and cutting-edge healthcare innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end design and development of clinical systems aligned with study protocols and operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities in clinical technology.
Configure, integrate, and test systems for functionality and usability.
Guide strategic implementation of new technologies and best practices in system design.
Monitor industry trends to support ongoing innovation in clinical trial technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline.
Significant experience in clinical system design and implementation in the clinical research or healthcare sector.
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional and matrix teams.
Proficiency with clinical data management systems and data interpretation.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
